Alice in Wonderland Pop up Book

This book brings a 3D element to Alice in Wonderland with its beautiful pop up features.

 

Each page brings a new artwork that stays true to the original illustrations in Alice in Wonderland.

 

It is illustrated by Rob Sabuda, who is known for his pop up books. Its hard to describe the great detail involved in the illustrations in his interpretation. I feel as though I'm not doing it justice and it is one of those books you need to see for yourself.

The White Rabbit looks kind of annoyed, probably because he is late. Its the detail in the eyes and fur that make this an amazing painting. Available here

Alice in Wonderland Illustrations by Camille Rose Garcia

There are so many Alice in Wonderland illustrations out that it is hard to choose. My favourite modern interpretation is the illustrations by Camille Rose Garcia.

It might appear creepy, albeit gothic, but the designs work together and give a new life to Alice in Wonderland. It's wacky and isn't that the idea behind Alice in Wonderland?

 Each character is beautifully designed and so far beyond what I originally imaged Alice in Wonderland.

I'm not going to spoil the rest of the illustrations, but one thing I love about it as that you have no idea what to expect. You turn each page and nothing is the same. It's colourful and childish while not being childish.

I would definitely recommend buying this book, even just to support the wonderful mind that is Camille Rose Garcia.

Disappearing Chesire Cat Mug and Tshirt

This concept has always intrigued me and now there is a product that actually does just that!

The cat disappears when the mug is filled with any hot liquid and reappears when the hot liquid is gone. It stays true to the originally illustrations as well as the original words. 

There is also a disappearing Cheshire Cat tshirt as well! The Cheshire cat in the Tshirt will appear when you are out in the sun and disappear again when you go into the shade.
