Teapots - Alice in Wonderland Collectables

What Alice in Wonderland site would be complete without a post about tea? Or more particular, teapots and tea cups. One thing I love about Alice in Wonderland is any teapot can be Alice in Wonderland related, regardless of what it looks like. For an Alice in Wonderland party, just have a collection of unmatching cups and teapots and it just fits right in!

Going to second hand stores will always provide you with a range of cups to choose from. Also supports a charity so it works out well for everyone.

Teapots can be hard to find to fit the theme of Alice in Wonderland, so here are a few to get you started.

These teapots remind of the suit of diamonds and the missmatched sizes are perfect for the randomness of Alice in Wonderland. They are available on the T2 website under the collection Back To Black.

This one is available from MorethanPorcelain on Etsy. The illustration is from the original book that is the perfect addition to any Alice in Wonderland party.

This one reminds of the Queen of hearts even before i saw the name of Queen of Hearts. Its all elegant teapot that would be the main highlight of any party. Available from David Jones.

Alice in Wonderland Songs

The one album I would definitely recommend for Alice in Wonderland, regardless of my feelings on the film, is the Almost Alice album. This was created to promote the Tim Burton film by a collaboration of different artists including Avril Lavigne, All American Rejects, All Time Low and Motion City Soundtrack. Its some really catchy music about Alice in Wonderland. What more could you want?

I would also recommend the songs from Disney animation Alice in Wonderland like the Unbirthday Song and Painting the Roses Red. Or the Lobster Quadrille from the TV movie. There are a lot more songs you could look at getting from different adaptions.

Another artist to look into is Mycheal Gabriel, who has released an entire album dedicated to Alice in Wonderland. He has a obsession with Alice in Wonderland shown through his music. It makes you wish you had the same idea. Heres a few other songs to get you started:

• Gwen Stefani : What you waiting for
• Damitsgood808 : Mad Hatter Rap
• Yeah Yeah Yeah : Heads Will Roll
• Lisa Mitchell : Alice
• Natalia Kills : Wonderland
• Florence and the Machine : Rabbit hole (Raise it up)
• Jason Munday & Alex Carpenter : Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland Party Decorations!

Etsy can be considered to be the best place to buy Alice in Wonderland things. No matter what you need, they are likely to have anything. I didn't discover Etsy until after I had thrown an Alice in Wonderland party and I was actually really disappointed in the amount of things I could have bought to make my party just that little bit more wonderful.

These signs will make it easier (or even more confusing) for you guests to find the party. I had some homemade signs like this hanging up besides the door to the party room. Pretty cool decorations and thankfully no one followed the directions.

They are available from here:  https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/GlitterInkDesigns?ref=l2-shopheader-name

Spread these bottles everywhere! May not be a good idea to actually put any liquid in them though... My party had a ton of random teapots, cups and bottoms that I had found at secondhand stores. My bottles tended to be random sizes with different fonts on them so maybe mix some homemade ones with these!

The top available at :https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/UmbrellaLaboratory?ref=l2-shopheader-name. The right ones are the homemade ones.

To make it even easier, you could buy the labels with characters on it and then make your own bottles!

And if you have Drink me labels, you should probably put Eat me on food. Especially on the cupcakes. Either draw Eat me on with icing or use these adorable cake decorations! Maybe with some Alice in Wonderland themed cupcake wrappers!

Both located here: https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/DKDeleKtables?ref=l2-shopheader-name

Spread these around the table!
